"Hong Kong Caligraphy" Postcard - Street Signs

Street Signs - Hong Kong's street signs are an essential element of the city, providing direction and reflecting the history, culture, and design style of HK. Street signs in HK have undergone many years of evolution. From usually black and white, with small fonts, and mainly in English, and became more diverse, with not only English but also Chinese and Romanized Chinese fonts from the 80s. In addition, the shape of street signs also began to change, from traditional squares to various forms such as rectangles and ellipses.

Mr. Tsui Piu is a well-known photographer, freelance article writer and is a member of many societies, such as the China Photographers Association, the Images Copyright Society of China, Hong Kong Photographic Society etc. He is also a contract photographer of China Tourism and the Guangming Daily. Piu has also won nearly 300 awards.  He specializes in photography and documentary of culture and heritage.
